Having attended David Allen Green's hugely successful (and covered in BBC's Newsnight) inaugural meeting of Westminster Skeptics, which featured Simon Singh, talking the day before his third appeal against Eady's ruling on the meaning in the libel case brought by the British Chirpractic Association, it is with great pleasure I learn that he has won the leave to appeal!!! And it was great to see Simon supported by Ben Goldacre and Nick Cohen. They all gave great talks.
In the judgment Judge Laws (a great example of nominative determinism) said that Eady's ruling on the meaning of "bogus" was legally erroneous. Ahem...Is that not just a judicial way of saying the ruling was itself bogus? ;-)
